So here we are again in Bangkok..it's always been one of our fav places to visit ...and since its Rayyan's first time in Thailand..so we thought Bangkok is a good place to start
Back when there were just the 2 of us, we always stay at khao san road mainly due to the easy access to yummy muslim food by the makcik at the nearby mosque and also at night, a lot of stuffs to check out here..
But this time, with our lil boy around, we opt to stay closer to the city on the first day...hence our hotel called Muang Dol (errr...smtg like tat) which is right next to MBK! hahaha...talk about close eh
The hotel is i think a 3 *** hotel...very very accessible to the MRT, just a walkway to MBK, right next to the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre and walking distance to the Jim Thompson museum.
our first stop right next to our hotel is the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre
next was a 10 mins walk to the Jim Thompson house museum
next we were hungry haha...would u believe after so many trips to bangkok and not once have we had a decent tom yum here?lol...so luck was on my side, coz i found a lil muslim cafe that serves delish tom yum
i'd give myself a dollar for every bite that i took...so so nice and hot!
the cafe is at the upper floor in MBK ...cant remember the name will get back on tat!
well, the first day was basically mall hopping since we're raising quite a mallrat hahaha..
yeah, they have a madame tussaud! no need to go to london uols!hahaha
p.s: thats britney btw...*wink*
its siam discovery-siam centre-centro world etc..took the kilometre long walkway from one mall to another..beats taking a tuk tuk or cab coz of the famous jam in bangkok
