DAY 2- TALAD ROD FAI ( I hail you!)

so finally here we are...after much talk with our friend jamil back in amcorp who continuosly ravessss about this latest IN place to be in bangkok, we are at TALAD ROD FAI (the train market). Its located at Kampangpetch Road (actually its quite a walk from chatuchak market) Opens Sat-Sun from 4pm til 1am.

the only halal stall..i think...hey this place is damn huge!!lol

these crackers are suprisingly sticky sweet

kewpie dolls! havent seen these in ages!

wan standing next to 'MATER' from CARS hehe

ohhh mamat ni legend..look for him at the corner of the bazaar
he's a mean kung fu teh tarik machine hehehe

phew....this place i can describe as an open air night bazaar selling mostly vintage and antique stuffs....a heaven for pickers and curios collectors.
We should have been here years ago as the prices back then was way cheaper than they are now.
This place actually is set beside an abandoned railroad track and station. And inside some of these abandoned stations are cafes and bistros.
Right in the middle is the night bazaar where collectibles, fashion accessories, toys, bicycles u name it are all spread on the ground for all to see.

    1. Hi, glad u dropped by..as for the pricing range for the furnitures, the original vintage ones are quite expensive ..ex. a small dressing stool made of teak wood and with bronze legs can go from BAHT6000 above..and u can see the 'retro' furnitures above, some of them are reproductions..they're cheaper than the original ones but shipping cost might set u back..
So for me, might as well i go search for original vintages here in malaysia..:)
housewares..depends on the stalls u checked on..but for me personally theyre a bit on the mid range pricing..but still cheaper than retail.
      hope tis helps!:)
